April 2nd, 2007 – crucial US Supreme Court ruling “Massachusetts versus EPA”

Under the Bush junior regime the Environmental Protection Agency did everything it could NOT to force action on climate change. Losing patience, various states took action. Massachusetts took a law suit all the way to the Supreme Court, and the judges (the majority of them) got it right, saying C02 is a pollutant that the EPA had to actually do something about.
